But that is not what the conversation was about was it - it was about the 90 days rule that the EU imposes - wasn't it - remember. Here it is again for you in bold italic- no mention of trade or single market in my post was there.

I guess you shouldn't have let the Cons stuff parliament with Hard Brexit fanatics like Johnson, Gove and Rees-Mogg.
We could have had a softer Brexit if we'd wanted. For example if about half the population voted for out, and about half voted for in, would that have meant the country wanted the most extreme option? That's what Johnson did.
Let's face it...
Brexiteers had no clue as to what they were voting for...
And now they are unhappy with the pile of sh*t that they and the whole country are sitting in, and they wish to blame anyone but themselves...
On top of that they seem to relish any tiny problem that may be going on in the EU...
Whilst portraying the EU as the 'bad guys', even though they are simply following the rules that the UK helped draft
In order to hide the fact that deep down they know they made their worst ever political/economic/social decision ever!
Of course it's easy for brexiteers to prove otherwise...
Sadly not a single one has come up with a single tangible benefit of brexit so far...

- The poorest households, with incomes of less than £20,000 per year, were much more likely to support leaving the EU than the wealthiest households, as were the unemployed, people in low-skilled and manual occupations, people who feel that their financial situation has worsened, and those with no qualifications.
- Groups vulnerable to poverty were more likely to support Brexit. Age, income and education matter, though it is educational inequality that was the strongest driver. Other things being equal, support for leave was 30 percentage points higher among those with GCSE qualifications or below than it was for people with a degree. - Groups in Britain who have been ‘left behind’ by rapid economic change and feel cut adrift from the mainstream consensus were the most likely to support Brexit. These voters face a ‘double whammy’. While their lack of qualifications put them at a significant disadvantage in the modern economy, they are also being further marginalised in society by the lack of opportunities that faced in their low-skilled communities. This will make it extremely difficult for the left behind to adapt and prosper in future.

You made no mention of the Schengen 90 day rule
You just said “EU could afford U.K. special status”
In any case you are wrong, the terms of our leaving were a negotiation, the U.K. only wanted a bare bones deal, that’s what it got. The U.K. could have applied to join schengen when it left, but it didn’t.

Who's blubbing? I find it interesting that all is not sweetness and light in EU land and it looks like some of the inhabitants are just waking up to how they are being controlled by those in charge.
