But it does not HAVE to be done although its his perogative to issue the Cert or not!

Did he charge for the visit?

No he didn't charge for visit. The Gas Cert was going to be £40+vat once he'd done the other bits of work

Simple as he has not issued cert or charged you just go elsewhere sod him.

Alec 1 if it was trac pipe it is only perfectly legal used in the right circumstances
