The grumpy neighbour can now apply for a court injunction that will force the council to uphold their planning policies.

If they have nothing better to do and a few £10,000s for the fees. So they won't, and would get told to go away if they did.

Are you allowed to paint a victory symbol on it? Perhaps a hand with two fingers sticking up, that classic V for Victory symbol that couldn't possibly mean anything else.

I would try to design a more subtle symbol, but more permanent than paint.

I’ve just requested to push the site visit back to Tuesday as I’m too worried I will get a jobsworth.

I’m gona put another layer of porcelain slabs down 600mm in front of the building to form a step. That will raise me up to there or there abouts where I need to be!

My builder mates are telling me they won’t care about 40mm but I know what these people can be like and I don’t want the aggregation of having to make adjustments to the roof or having to go through planning over 40mm!
How did this go with the planning officer?
