Morning,
We have a 10 year old flexicom 30cx boiler that was here when we moved in and it has had intermittent water leaking since day one. I thought it may be rain coming in through the flue as it doesn't seem to effect operation.
Well this morning the worktop was wet after raining last night, so I wipped the cover off and again couldn't see anywhere that it was leaking internally.
There was a small amount of water sitting in the front bottom right hand corner of the boiler casing but no obvious signs of where it has come from. I did notice some water stains on the top of the front flue duct where the front silencer pipe sits at the top and what appears to be condensation on the inside of the front cover. I wobbled the front silencer pipe and a fair amount of water dripped out from the opening over the front flue duct.
Is this likely to be rain water or something more sinister
