Hi Guys

I have just moved in to a new house let and need to get to grips with the central heating system. I would like some help on starting a Potterton Prima F30 Boiler. I am told the gas supply is live to the property, I just need to ignite the boiler.

I can only see two controls on the boiler. There's a dial I can rotate with numbers on, and there's a small black push button on the bottom.

So, I presume I just rotate the dial to start the gas flow, if so, round to what number? Then I press the black push button to ignite the boiler?

Are there any safety procedures I need to do before attempting this?

Thanks for any help. :D

All the normal advice would be to get the boiler checked for safety and correct operation by a gas registered engineer.
