Hotpoint Aquarius WD61 Washer / Dryer

Could anyone help with the steps for replacing a door seal for the WD61 please. I have located a replacement seal and would like to know if anyone has had experience changing one, and if so, how easy / hard is it.

when you open the door -
at the top of the door seal you'll see a plastic square cap - use a fine screwdriver to prise it away from the appliance then slide it in half -
pull the metal ring out carefully and put aside with the plastic cap as you will need to re use

take off cabinet lid
take off the front base kick panel
pull out soap drawer
undo the 4 screws holding the soap drawer inner to the front
the front facia should ease out now but be careful as there is a ribbon cable and some multi pin connectors to disconnect carefully
the front panel will now expose 4 or 6 screws along the top and bottom
now ease front panel from the cabinet
take out the 3 wires to the door switch - remember which order
the door seal is now exposed

you will see a large ring with a spring loaded screw on assembly type thing
slacken this off until it comes away easy
now the seal will ease off nicely

fitting is reversal of this description

tips
make sure seal is in position firmly before applying the ring fastener
go gentle on the door switch & facia panel
take photos of wires before disconnecting
careful when using a screwdriver near new seal

i've made it sound more complex than it is
