Metal Grating / Air Brick 1920's house

The house was built in 1920's, the air brick area have metal grates that pushes in to the space, grate has flat front and 4 bits sticking out of it to in each corner to hold it on. Anyone know where I can get one of these from to replace a damaged one. :(

otherwise you can fit an ordinary clay airbrick. As far as I know they have not been sold for many years.

If you have a damaged one and it is worth £££ to you, I suppose you could have it welded together and ground smooth to match.
 
First stop would be a reclamation yard.

You could take the broken one along to a local foundry, and see if they can cast a new one using it as a pattern.

for a repair, bronze welding is probably the best option.

Do a google for brittania gratings, they still make cast air bricks / vents
