mid position valve

HI All i need a little help i have flushed the system all water came out clean filled the system adding x100. The valve moves ok but hot water on its own and it struggles to get around the coil can i take the valve off by plugging the vent&feed ? i think it may be partly blocked.

I have changed many 3port valves using the bung method as you describe. For an amateur it would be best to drain down enough to do the work you intend to do.

As above, I'd drain it if I were you. Save yourself a ceiling!

It can be done but not best to try unless you've done them before. It doesn't act like a rad valve.
