Modifications and insurance

Stop feeding the troll! You could tell him the sun is coming up in the morning and he'd argue against it. Just ignore him or at best, just give one reply and he might go off and play elsewhere. Unless he can show a scan of his insurance policy where it says what he claims, just tell him to do one. Have you not worked out who he is yet?
Who is he ?

Bod ?

If you accept the risk of invalidation, then you are driving with invalidated insurance...
Risk of invalidation is not same as invalidation. My risk is no worst than yours, in fact better because I am only dealing with 1 car.

I'm only dealing with one car too...

In fact, I'd say that you're in a significantly worse position than me, having admitted, in writing, on a public forum, to having used pattern parts!:)

Of course, I think we both know that there's nothing wrong with using pattern parts and that it doesn't invalidate your insurance, you're just a nasty little troll who delights in spreading misinformation....

If that is the case, why did I take evasive action as chronologued in this thread? Clearly the pattern parts are seen as risky. Your becoming aggressive just shows deep down you know I am right, and striking out against someone who is pointing out the risk. The risk has been stated in black and white by a representative insurer.

I've no idea what "evasive action" that was. (This might come as a shock to you, but I don't pay that much attention to your posts, as they're mostly drivel). However, if it's anything like any of your other "cunning plans", Baldrick would be ashamed and I expect an insurer would see through them in an instant.

Clearly the pattern parts are seen as risky.

Some are, some aren't. I wouldn't expect you to be able to distinguish between the two...

No, I just despise arrogant people who spread disinformation. (Nothing personal, of course...) ;)

The post it up, or be know as a liar...

I told ya. You're all wasting your time trying to get the little prick to post his 'evidence'. He won’t. He doesn’t have any. He's having you all on and you are all falling for it!

So who is he ? Is it bod ?

Before your time. Same style as nutjob. Couldn’t be helped and constantly arguing with what he was told. I can’t recall his name but it was something ending in boy90. Had a diesel Vectra or Astra think but he used the same forum name and avatar on some porn site which showed pictures of him pleasuring himself. Someone on here sussed him out and he disappeared shortly after. Looks like he’s back.

Mottie is suffering some kind of a persecution complex. Every time someone says something he doesn't agree, he thinks it's the same person. I never had a Vauxhall. My current car goes way back. My earliest posts were probably about it. I had the car for a long, long time.

Anyway, lets add some cheer to the thread. My new cover looks like a winner. No leaks after some long journeys. The china gasket was fine, and the china rtv was fine. Once the houthis release my china SS washers, I should be set for life.

Got this to clean my engine for an MOT pass next year. I have some asphalt degreasers. It smells like alloy wheel cleaner. So, I will use that.
