I have just (last saturday) replastered one of my bedrooms and need to know how long the plaster has to dry before I can paint it.
I have looked at all the advice on sealing the plaster but I am unsure about when to do it. Some web sites advocate 6 months but I had hoped to do it before Christmas. I am working on a very tight/small/non-existant budget here and want to try and avoid specialist paints.
I plastered over horrendously damaged plasterboard with blue hawk finishing plaster. The depth varied according to the damage and my lack of skill (never done this before so last wall is better than the first).
I assume I can just sand down some of the imperfections left by my lack of skill. None of them seem too bad.
