Plastic pipes

I live in a 3 year old house and the pipes are all plastic to the rads.
Will this help reduce the build up of scale inside the pipes compared too copper pipes?
I have fernox MB 1 Inhibitor in the system.How long will this last before i should drain down and refill?

Depends whether they're "Barrier" pipe or not. Unless you can read it somewhere you'll have to look at a cut end to see the extra layer.

Inhibitor - open or sealed system, pump in flow /inside boiler, return, or what?

For a clean sealed system, ideal circumstances, Fernox say 10 years.
