I have just had a problem with my boiler (powermax he115i) it is going to lockout and I cant find why. The normal pressure gauge is a 1.5 bar but the digital is starting at about 2 bar then rising and cutting off at about 5 bar .I have checked to make sure that the expansion vessel hose is clear and it is .I have also checked the pressure switch and that is also clear please could somebody help :(

Could be the exp vessel is flat or knackered, but as these are dangerous boilers to work on I only ever recommend getting Heat Team to fix.

The average RGI, myself included, is not suitably trained to work on these.

The dangerous one is the Range Powermax dave

I quite like these HE potty ones

loverly to work on

I thought they were all dangerous and awkard sods to work on

Still, it is another one that is on my list not to work on ;)
