Spark generator fault then. I think this is on the pcb

You've lost me g4u, I didn't think we had power to the fan yet.

Oh yeah  It was the OP talking about ignition elements that wrongly led me to think the fan problem had been overcome

I have been following this for the last few days with interest.

Still waiting for info on the fact the power is not getting to the fan.

Are we all agreed that this has to be resolved prior to proceeding further.

If you are all stumped, thanks for the assistance I will phone potterton and ask them to get an engineer to investigate this.

Or if you can suggest any further steps advice much appreciated.

Fan has to spin first, aps then proves the fan, ignition sequence starts. If no power to fan then pcb is probably knackered.

If power to fan then fan is knackered

Gas4you.

Thanks for excellent explanation.

I think the answer is new pcb which is on its way as no power to fan.

I will keep you posted

New pcb arrived old started to remove old one and discovered school boy error by corgi fitter that installed it originally!!!

I quickly repaired this and now have a pcb that is not needed

Agile surely instead of asking such a basic question as in have certain suprimas got flow switches it woud be far easier just looking up www.partsarena.com/baxi . And checking nfo here
