It worked in our house - it turned out that nobody who lives here is so challenged that they were unable to learn when to turn lights off.

Guys thanks for all your help! Ive just found out Time Lag switches dont work with GU10 bulbs! so... ive given up! lol

Before you close up that switch with the metal face plate, I would connect the loose green earth to the earth on the switch along with the green and yellow. :)
