To anyone who can offer advice!

I am going to have my bathroom refitted including moving the bath and toilet around. I had a plumber, who was referred to me, come round and gave me a qoute which i feel is quite high. Sadly i do not have many other plumbers to turn to that have been recommended.

Does anyone have anybody they can refer to me or know of a good independant website that has plumbers listed?

I live in Bristol.

Thanks in advance

The quote was 1400 pound.

He was going to remove the old bath, sink and toilet.
Fit new bath, toilet and sink in different locations.
Install new waste pipe for toilet including new pipe outside to floor.
Lay floor tiles (tiles extra).
Fit tiles around bath and sink (tiles extra).

Thanks

Ben

My new bathroom suite just cost about that, and I've moved it all around and done it myself!

If he's supplying the kit himself, I guess that aint a bad price?

http://www.plumb-quick.co.uk/ These guys are in Bristol, no idea what they are like, but might be good for a quote you never know.

Maybe you could keep the costs down by tiling yourself?

Yeah told him that we would tile the walls ans he took off 200 pound.

Gonna get a written quote see what else we can do ourselves.

Will try that website and report back if we use them.

Thanks for the help
