Saniflow question

Hi there
I have a small en-suite with a shower and a toilet that flows the waste into a saniflow system. My question is can i pour over the counter drain unblocking chemicals into the shower drain hole to unblock it or will this damage my saniflow in any way? Alternatively can i use a plunger without also causing damage to it?

Cleaning the trap should do the trick
