I recently had a shower pump (Watermill 2 bar) installed in my home, but it randomly works. Sometimes its fine for a week, then it wont work for 2 days, then comes right. The plumber who installed the pump has been around several times, but has not had much success. The system, which is open-vented, has recently been renovated due to a loft fire, but for some reason the plumber deemed it not necessary to fit a Surrey, York or Essex flange for the hot water supply. This concerns me as many web articles suggest this is a must. Could this be a factor?
The plumber once suggested it may be an issue with the capacity of my water tank and hot water cylinder. Is this true?
Your advice on this matter would be truly appreciated.
