Sizng a plastered wall prior to wallpapering

Hi,

I know i need to size my wall prior to wallpapering, the question is when do i do it and how many coats?

Im planning on doing it tomorrow morning, how long before i wallpaper do i need to size? the wall in a newly plastered wall. Also do i need to put on more than one coat?
