Surrey/Essex flange

Hi

I'm going to be putting in a Stuart Turner pump (for whole house). I was going to use a surrey flange but have just read on some web diy site that an Essex flange should be used instead.

Is this right or is Surrey OK?

Either's fine.

Surrey flange is easier.

You don't already have a fitting, blanked off, on the side of the cylinder do you? If so use that.

no, I haven't got a blanked fitting sadly. I'll fit the surrey flange. I was searching on google to buy one online when I came across this article.

I'm sure 22mm Surrey will be fine
