We have boxing behind our toilet and basin all of which is to be tiled the top is to be used as a shelf. We have 2 horizontal edging strips meeting at an external corner which is ok but we need a 3rd strip to meet vertically. Any thoughts on how to do this or is there a special type of edging joint we can buy? Thanks

You can buy ninety degree corners from B&Q about £2 each. If you use these on the top part and butt the other section up under the corner it looks OK.

I have only seen them in plain smooth white.

mitre together your two horizontal strips and then cut each end at 45 degrees so when fitted back together you have a vertical "v" at the corner thencut the vertical strip to a point to fit into this "v". May take a couple of goes to get a good fit iff using a stanley knife but if its not exactly perfect don't worry too much as when its grouted the join will be virtually invisible anyway.
