i have a two way light switch in my living room here is my problem,

1. if switch 'one' is off, switch 'two' can turn the lights on and off (no problem)

2. if switch 'two' is off switch 'one' cannot turn lights on

3. switch 'two' must be left on for switch 'one' to turn lights on and off

All my wires are RED so i dont really know whats what, im hoping its just an obvious wire mix up

Has it ever worked? Have you replaced a switch which stopped it working?

I have f'd up, and am desperate for help.

1. if switch 'one' is off, switch 'two' can turn the lights on and off (no problem)

2. if switch 'two' is off switch 'one' cannot turn lights on

3. switch 'two' must be left on for switch 'one' to turn lights on and off

On second thoughts, I have f'd up bigger than I first realised....

All my wires are RED so i dont really know whats what, im hoping its just an obvious wire mix up.

I just took pot luck and grabbed any red wire and stuck it in a terminal, then repeated the process 'till I ran out of red wires.

Tip: Just keep trying the pot luck approach, and by 2021 you should have found the correct combo...
