Vents in my loft.

Hi,

The previous owner of my house installed a eave facia but did not put any vents to aid in loft ventilation. The south side has them as this is the original facia.

I need some help to make some vents please! The current ones are round and approx 1,5 inches wide (but could be wrong)

What size hole do I need drill?
How far apart do I drill?
Should i drill from the loft to ensure I know where I am drilling?
Where do I buy the vent covers and what am I asking for?

http://www.screwfix.com/p/circular-...10/68936#product_additional_details_container Something like this, probably get them cheaper off ebay @approx 200mm centres. Use a hole saw to make the hole. I doubt you can get your drill into the eaves to drill it from the loft so drill up into the soffit.
