hi i am having 2 viessmann 24kw 100w compact boilers installed connected as one . someone has just told me that these boilers cant be linked . has anyone an oppinion ? thanks
Yeah you can do anything to any boiler that is true, but you wont get the best out of a system that is not optimised with proprietary controls in Viessmanns case...
The OP has to decide if he wants a solution or an optimal solution..
You can do this if you really want to, but it is far from the best method. You need to go out to a low loss header, or a monotube header, and use a separate pump for each boiler, each one powered from its own boiler. It is not at all easy to equip this layout with weather compensation.
As said, it is better to use a single larger boiler.
