Why?

was reading something today,no idea if its true.
but with the gas apparently they bought it 3 years ago.so we are still using gas at the expensive rate,so in a few years by right our bills should be really low???

It will be interesting to see if that happens but somehow I doubt it. The price of petrol is low at the moment but that's because the price of oil is low now, not three years ago. But we live in hope.

I don't see why we will see any noticable fall in our electricity costs.

Oil/gas is <50% of our energy, more renewables and a new nuclear plant is being built (as they should be, let's build renewables whilst energy is cheap, rather than trying to do it when it is more expensive to do, no this doesnt mean windfarms).

Then there are carbon taxes, and more regulation means old plants are being phased out and replaced with cleaner more efficient models.
