Worcester 28i Junior Lockout Wont Reset

Help,

The lockout button is flashing once a sec and wont reset

1. However If I turn the thermostat in the room (wireless) to demand CH then press and hold the reset button i get CH on

2.If I then Turn a HW tap on boiler locks out again

3. If i follow 1 above and leave the heating on for 30 mins I can get hw when ever I want.

4. If i dont let the boiler cool down too much it seems to work !!

Its not cold so I know its not the condensate pipes. Thinking PCB but dont want to shell out if its not that

Any help would be much appreciated

once a second flash can mean just about everything is wrong including the pcb.

it most likely is the pcb as they are the biggest fault on these but i would recommend you get a fixed price repair and let someone else worry about it.

i feel a bit sheepish now as there wasnt enough pressure on the ch loop for the boiler 2 start

it works fine now but is running at 3.0 bar wnen hot

im hoping its just the expansion vessel that needs topping up, gonna get a gauge to check it on mon

Now ive got water ****ing out the overflow pipe !!

does that mean either prv or expansion tank ?
