touch light

I am at school and am making a light/lamp. I want it to be special by making it a touch light/lamp but I need a special circuit for it but I can't find a picture of the circuit on the net. Can anyone help me.

The circuit is for a 60watt bulb so needs to be able to hold 250 milliamps.
