Hot shower after 5 mins

I am retiling a bathroom and was going to replace the shower as well. The question is my current Triton AS1000 power shower gets really hot after 5 mins. Does this mean that the shower's broken, in which case i was going to change it anyway, or is there something more sinister going on with the plumbing?
