Garage conversions.

Is it just me or is there a lot more garage conversion work about these days? What with the housing market slump and people wanting more space.

I've done 4 last week, and quoted another 3, with more on the horizon.

Only issue is, I'm ending up doing a lot of cheap consumer unit upgrades, that are almost always neccicary with 17th ed.
 
So, don't do them cheap. Problem solved!! :lol:

I imagine as domestic jobs go, they arn't bad on thje whole, block walls, with boxes needing to be chopped in half way ready for dabbing, wiring the lights from below before the ceiling is boarded. Not all nice though, things like picking up power (whether new circuits or tapping into existing), and remedials to things like bonding have the capability to be either a piece of cake or a right pain in the backside
