Have a new combi oven the electrical side of things calls for a double poled switch to isolate which is what I have on existing oven , but asks for a 19AMP fuse?
:?:

made in outer mongolia by chance?

sure it says 19A FUSE? and not just says it takes 19A?

Have double checked and it states a double poled switch should be fitted with 19amp fuse.
However I have checked the web for install instructions and can find none but for the next model in range and that takes a normal 13amp plug , so it may well be a translation error, [I think it's Italian made] I think the total amp-age may be 19amps , though in practice you would not use oven and grill at the same time and I did find spares for the oven, the main heating element is only 2kw.
Will call the helpline number tomorrow and check for sure, will certainly simplify the install if it only needs a standard socket.

The helpline is the best place.

We could guess and surmise but its always best to follow the maker's instructions.

The next model which replaced my model, not up or down.Have called helpline and after 8 different phone numbers finally got to engineer on mobile , but awaiting call back as he needs to check himself as he is not sure of oven spec.

Finally got it sorted, need 30amp supply apparently so can use my existing cooker supply, thanks to those commented.
Still not sure the spec is right though, according to manual the highest usage would be around 4.5 kw.
