After the previous labour speaker was ousted under rather embarrassing circumstances relating to misuse of tax money, to a degree that borders on downright fraud, his replacement decided to spend 45000 quid to do his free of charge flat up, including bigger tv and dvd and that kind of really essential items. He also lied by claiming that it was "only" £20,000 instead of £45,000

Good to know that New Labour sticks to the same values as Old Labour:

We are all equal, but if you try to dodge the taxman for 45 squid you get clobbered, whilst politicians unnecessarily splashing out 45 grand of our money, can do so.

Think about that, next time you are struggling to pay your bills.

No, if you want that you have to vote for EDP. IMO they are the only sensible option these days. I dont trust anyone else to run this country.

Labour did but it made them unelectable so they adopted some tory principles and then became electable. well that, and the fact everyone was fed up of the tories
