check the inlet filter on the hot side of the mixer.
is the hot pipe to the mixer getting hot ?

Not always When it gets warm you get a luke warm shower If it stays cold ,cold shower

what feeds the hw to the shower a combi boiler, cylinder etc ?
it is a cylinder with header tankI have a problem with a briston artison shower valve.It worked ok for two months now only runs cold or luke warm.Has any one seen this problem?
you say its fed from a cylinder.
your feed from the cylinder should get hot every time not just warm or cold. providing the cylinders water is hot the feed to the shower should be hot.
is the cold fed from the cws in loft to the shower ?
The cold feed is in the loft.The bar gets hot but still luke warm shower
if the bar is getting hot from the hot pipe etc
then either the filter is blocked or the thermostatic cartridge is stuck
by limescale.
try removing the bar mixer and check the filters first and check both flows from the pipes.
