Body Scanners to be introduced at UK airports.
Just glad I don't fly anymore.
These things show everything. Not that I've anything to be ashamed off what with my adonis body and large bits but total strangers giving my body the once over.
No thank you.

Got tobe less invasive than having a pat down, when we came back from the states nearly everyone was subjected to this in full view of everybody.

i cant see the problem myself, the operator is in a room seperate to the machine and dont even see the person.you may prefer to share your plane with a bomb.i know which i would prefer.not sure if they expose bombs/componants stored inside the body??

You never been examined by a Doctor, down below?

Try being examined by a very fit and attractive young female student doctor.

These body scanners, imo, are a very good idea.

wasnt there talk about this a few months ago,and there were concerns about scanning children etc.

yeah.. real erotic....

the people running the scanners would have to have an advanced disclosure anyway and I dare say that includes searches of their browsing history etc..

it's about 4 inches below his knees from what i can see..

what would be worse?
going through a scanner or having to be frisked?

and in respect to the kids..
if you frisked the kids, you'd have to check the nappies too.. so that's got to be worse?

is there radiation involved? what about frequent flyers such as businessmen/women, would they accumulate a harmful dosage?

I have some metal repair work and (esp in the US) they get very nervous when I set off the scanners. They put me in a little cell until I can be patted down and done with a hand-held detector. It always entertains my chums when I am led away.

Simple then isnt it, if they dont want their kids scanned they can go to butlins. I daresay there will be parents nannying their kids and kicking up a stink at the customs border, despite the fact they knew about the scanners months before, when they booked.

I dont think its a problem if they are put in the cargo hold
