Is anyone else looking forward to this years championship?

Personally I am, but just wondered if the regulars watch it, pay a small interest, or find it generally boring?

Looking forward in anticipation.
Think Schumi will have a good season but not a championship one.
Button/Hamilton should be interesting, think Hami will have the edge if he can stay calm but Button may surprise a few doubters.

Bring it on!

Wouldn't miss it. I was a big Kimi fan. Don't know who i'll follow this year.

Give me a Dee

To each his own, but you can't get any more boring/dull than;

Golf, cricket, darts, snooker.

Just my view.

Well, point taken. Remember this is a dangerous sport... and whilst the clip is years old, this stuff happens.. www.youtube.com/watchv=34y8h_GXxuQ

That would not happen in this century (a guy ejected into a fence) but the real dangers are there. Ayrton Senna proved that, but not in the 21 century.

Americas Cup race. Now there's a couple of hours of no action.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=34y8h_GXxuQ let me test the link. That does work now.

Now for the other one...

Just checking it, a F1 accident waiting to happen

but that (unfortunately) could happen to any of us on the way to work or to the supermarket....

I appreciate how incedible thase cars are, and also how hard it is to drive them as well as those guys do... but i have to say i find it really really boring as a viewing spectacle....

I was lucky enough to win some tickets good few years ago to the Formula 1.

Not really a big formula 1 fan but won the tickets so me and a mate went.

The build up to the race can be quite interesting, lots of stalls and exhibition stands, bars etc. The start of the race was superb and it was a very good atmosphere

But after the first few laps, it WAS boring to watch!

Every 5 minutes or so you would get the quick sound of a car go past and that was it, everything was relayed onto large screens but it just didnt seem right. I can understand how motor sport fans enjoy it. Just not really my cup of tea

So you are watching it partly in the hope that you see a fatality take place - a "you were there when it happened" experience

Not at all, I have seen fatalities before. I went because it was free and hoped to see some sort of excitement - which it lacked
