Hi My Hotpoint wma76s Has just stopped heating today, I think the heating element has died or faulty or i dont even know :\ where is it in the machine to check all cables and everything else is ok? I can get a new one for £12 so will do if i have to, I hope someone can advise me on this thanks in advance

How do you know it's not heating , if you say u feel the glass and it's not hot are u doing it before the rinse also yours is hot and cold fill .test the heater first with a meter heater found at the rear under white panel bottomof the drum

I have felt the glass at several stages through the wash, Also stopped it half way through its wash cycle and put the the waste pipe into a bucket this was freezing cold when empyting, i,ve repeated this process at several stages through the was cycle still cold, So how do i actually get to the heater? Im a novice at this thanks,

See prev post , found at the rear

Okay i took the panel off, undid the bolt foundthe element, looks all in tact tightened up the spade end connections, turned it back on still no joy, i guess i will need to buy a new heater, or is there something else it could be?

nothing else, can you check it with a continuity tester or meter ,should read 25 ohms if not its shot .
