Hi I am on a big domestic rewire , and in some instances there could be two feeds from different circuits at the same switch. For example a two gang two way switch controlling two seperate two way circuits is this allowed , and is there any regs on it ! Thanks
Perfectly acceptable. You would get into the area of warning notices etc. if the two circuits are on different phases of a 3-phase installation (or different poles of a 1-phase 3-wire system).
Ah cool , yeh it's all singlephase , just thought you might have to use "more than one point of isolation " labels would look terrible on a domestic installtion !
It's where you have a 3-wire 240/480V supply to the property - Still fairly common in more rural areas. You have two "outers" plus a neutral on the service, so you have 240V L-N and 480V L-L.
