BAXI SOLO 2PF - NO HW OR CH

Hi,


Just wondering if anyone on here could help me out with my boiler problem. I am a little bit lost as the boiler seems to be working fine, the lights have come on and the fan is audibly spinning. The heating in turned up to max and the HW is on at the controller but there is no heating or hot water. I have been and checked the pump at the cylinder and this is turning with now issues. The pump, PCB for the boiler & internal fan are all only about 2 years old. Basically cold water is going round the system and no water is being heated in the tank but everything looks like its working.

Quick respose would be welcomed as I have a 8 month old baby here and I need to know if this is going to cost to get repaired ASAP...



Money is a bit tight as per the baby comment lol.

Yeah ive just been looking into this a bit more. Just because I have a lit pilot light doesnt mean that the main burner is burning. Is there way of testing this ??

I would say yes, it defo sounds like a gas fault so RGI required.

Have you checked the pressure on the system?
Should be around the 1mb mark when cold.
It may just need re-presuring; very common fault.
