sorry completely wrong info.
whats happening is this. hot water via the immersion heater is hot thru the taps but not long enough to run a bath.
Looking back on your posts you have asked several questions regarding a varity of things.
Are you a plumber or just really unlucky.
If plumber then let us know you are stuck with something other than making out its at home.

no sry , done a course for a year a few years ago, do jobs now and again. not trying to make out its at home its just an easier way of putting it
How long has this been happening?
about a fortnight, there are two thermostats in the tank. top and bottom , was told bottom has never been used and that the top one is only one ever used. checked the temp. and its set at 60 degrees
There is the problem the thermostat should be at the bottom, switch them about and see what happens
ok thanks i'll give it a try, but why has it only recently happened ?
because both have worked until 2 weeks ago
