Yes BAS it will be a thread of questions. I have yet to recieve my book that I'm going to get and in the mean time I'd just. Like to ask questions here as I go along the book otherwise I'll forget by the time I get the book and than I can make notes in my book ....

My question clearly used the word "why", and I have subsequently pointed out to you that I used the word "why".

Please stop trying to evade a perfectly simple and reasonable question.

Someone might say "nobody should ever buy a Vauxhall", or "you shouldn't go to Majorca on holiday". All sorts of things can be said that leave no doubt as to what the person thinks but doesn't explain why they think it.

So please stop trying to evade a perfectly simple and reasonable question and explain why you think I should not post here.

So when, for no reason that he can even invent, holmslaw said to me "Why don't you mind your own business!!!! in response to a question I had asked someone else, and then time after time after time refused to answer a perfectly reasonable and civil request to explain why he said that, what do you think should be done?

It's tiresome at best to read nothing but constant bickering and for some strange reason it's always centred around you.

Perhaps some people are so pathetic and inadequate that having taken an personal dislike to me they see it as their mission to drag their petty and juvenile vendetta from topic to topic with no care as to whether anything they say is relevant, and with no thought as to whether it really is in the best interests of the forum to come out with off-topic and unjustifiable attacks.

I'd be the last person to claim that I never criticise people, sometimes quite forcibly, but I never do so without believing it to be justifiable. People may disagree with my justification, but I never refuse to explain why I believe what I do.

And I never start a dispute in one topic because of what someone has said in another one, and I never start topics with the sole aim of criticising someone.

Holmslaw seems to think that it's perfectly OK to have a pop at me even when in his own mind he can't come up with a remotely credible reason.
