We have a valley gutter between two pitched roofs. Someone has suggested using EPDM for replacement of existing epoxy roofing. What experience does anyone have of EPDM in particular sealing joints and resistance to weather

It is possible to use epdm but in my opinion i would replace with code 5 lead especially if the gutter is visible as epdm looks horrible when it gets warm(goes all wrinkly).

Also when i do a valley gutter i like to dress the hidden edges up over a piece of a angle fillet to create a ridge to stop any water being driven back up and this is a hard detail to do with epdm.

I would get a price for both , if the gutter is not that big i cant see there being much of a difference in price anyway.
