in my previous place i had a relatively new combi boiler, now and again had to let some water into system (e.g. if i had bled radiators) and it was an easy enough task.
in my 'new' place i have a stelrad group 'ideal mexico slimline' cf40 boiler and i could do with finding out if:
a) i need to let water into the system now and again and
b) if 'yes' how do i do it????
there's a sticker on back of panel that advises re: lighting boiler but i have nothing re: draining, letting water in etc etc. the combi had a pressure gauge so whenever it got near zero i simply let water in, on this one there's nothing to give an indication. it's obviously old, probably been in since place was built (mid-late 80's) but i'm happy enough living with it as long as it keeps on working.
any advice re: above would be appeciated.
