Wireless Thermostat for EcoMax Boiler???

Read numerous people saying the VRT340F is pants so looking for alternatives.
Is the Honeywell CM927 compatible with the Ecomax?

My house (purchased 6 months ago) doesnt have any roomstat at all and i want to sort it before winter kicks in

It should be fine. Vaillant's new VRT392rf looks good and an improvement to the old VRT360f but I don't think it is compatible with the Ecomax.

Just installed one of these with vrf 65 and I have to say that I am disappointed. Call me old f fashioned but one aspect I miss a lot is a 1,2 or 3 hour boost that old system & programmer gave us. Not sure it is relevant so excuse if not.
