Better bet than £210 all labour and parts included/£79 only if no fix?

I dont understand why you keep starting new threads when you should keep to the single one where we can read all the history.

These are pretty simple boilers and it should not be such a problem to get diagnosed.

Thought a new thread was needed this time round, as I need an engineer which is not obvious from other threads. I do take your point however.

My current worry is calling someone over and it ending up costing me in excess of £210. But I've been advised that happening is unlikely.

I didn't think you were actually in the US. Having had a quick search I note you moved...and it MUST be early there!
