buildings insurance renovating dwelling ?

Am currently renovating my unnoccupied dwelling rewiring...... new kitchen plumbing decorating etc and need insurance against fire theft vandalism etc for approx 3 months before i move i.

I took it out with Sheilas Wheels via a comparison site but they cancelled the insurance straight away once i told em i wasnt living in it !

Any suggestions or insurance companies that cater for this whilst renovating ?

I've heard somewhere you can get special cover for 3 month for this type of situation albeit much more expensive though.

The property is alarmed but still need to insure it for peace of mind when ive got 80 k in it..

My suggestion is I'll cover your liabilities for a premium of 160k and give you a no claims bonus of 10% at the period end.
