Can anyone advise an accurate way of measuring the heat loss in each room in order to calculate the required amount btu/h watts required to provide sufficient heat?
Simple easy answers appreciate if possible please?

Hi. If you check the manufacturers website, I.e Stelrad.. Usualy they have a pretty good user friendly calculator on there, but.. you'll still have to get the tape measure out! =)

depending on how accurate you need to be you need a programme taking everything into account,
room volume
room use
wall construction
window type and area
position to adjoining rooms
locality of property
etc etc
OR
measure room volume IN FEET, multiply x 5 then divide by 3412 this will give you the requirement in Kw for the radiators
