On this boiler, if the boiler thermostat fails, will the boiler still work, maybe with possible overheating, or will the burners fail to light at all? Any advice much appreciated, thank you.

twgas, thanks for reply. I had it serviced, cleaned and flue check a month ago by RGI, but since then I feel that the burner is not shutting-off when hot. I think I shall try to source a replacement thermostat, then see the RGI to fit it.

What leads uou to beleive that this is the case? Why not speak to RGI before you spend time and cash posibly unneccesarily.
Why do clients always think they an source stuff better than the fitter?
