Hi all. First plea for help here so please be gentle.
I have a fairly new Vaillant TURBOmax boiler. It`s 4 years old but hasn`t been used for the last 2 years.
After bleeding the system down to 1.5 Bar the pressure very slowly rises to over 3 Bar and then starts ejecting water from an overflow.
I understand this is normal behaviour when the pressure becomes too high. By slowly I mean around 12 hours. It just gradually creeps up.
If I turn off the cold water input to the boiler then it doesn`t do it.
I have ensured that the cold water filling valve is completely off without trying to overtighten it.
Is it a faulty valve or some kind of setting at fault. It`s obviously just trickling through somehow.
Thanks for looking.
