I had a Potterton Promaz SL Range fitted about 18 months ago and recently it has started making a loud banging noise and blowing itself out, usually after being on for about 30 mins to an hour. I'd be very grateful if anyone could suggest what the problem might be. Thanks.

Its normal to call the installer first if he is still in the country.
Depending on what he finds it might be covered by the warrantee if that was for longer than one year.
But to comply with the warrantee terms the boiler should have been serviced at the end of the first year!
