Delta I came to this site and asked a sensible question, and indeed got some sensible answers, yourself included. However, I'm not in a position to test the boiler myself and clearly lots of you guys just use this forum to have a go at each other....why? Why not work together to help answer the question? I've not got the hump I just want to get it sorted ASAP. Whether I choose personal recommendation or the yellow pages I'll have to take my chances and hope that whoever I choose is a little more competant than the last guy.

Sorry Dan but yes, you do need to take your chances. The reason for this is our whole industry has been undermined by short course cowboys, that are everywhere, they come with limited training or experience, stick a Gas Safe badge on their dodgy escort van & they're in Business!!
