Don`t panic - it might just have been air . And depending upon the boiler type you might be able to give the system a dose of leak sealer IF there is inded a leak - I don`t do boilers , but others will know about using sealers

I thought it would take up my time rather than finding out if I was losing water.
Turns out I am, one of the nails for the laminate flooring edging strip had gone through the microbore radiator pipe. Half of the floor damaged, I am really upset...
