Ladbrokes have stopped taking all bets on Harry Rednapp for the next england manager and no doubt he will get it........but I would like to see Alex Ferguson get the job if was interested, he is british and has a very good track record behind him.......this could be a new challenge as he has won everything on the domestic front

A scot in charge of an England national side?   that has to be the daftest notion ever post on any forum ever...

The Scots hate the English.... Fergie would put out a team of unknown octagenarians !!!! (although we'd still beat Scotland ;) )

Nothing wrong with a sweaty sock....better than a italian........but look at his track record compared to arrys

I've never understood the allowing of foreign managers for national teams fullstop.

It makes a mockery of the whole concept of a National side.

Harry Rednapp might be a shoe in as the next England manager, but Spurs have stood by him throughout - so would he leave after turning round Spurs from mid table, to Champions League contenders?

Well, no doubt, Harry will be taking advice from his accountant on the job front.
I see another bank account for Rosie in the coming weeks. ;) ;) ;) ;)

Harry won't touch it with a bargepole. He's been in the running for the job since he was at West Ham. He stated he wouldn't have it then, and I can't see him having it now.

A 'thankless task' is the phrase he used from memory.

From global community :-

José Mourinho - Can cut it in UK, honours won, served his time under one of our best -Bobby R - So he knows what.

Guus Hiddink - Thinking at least Korea 2002, gets them running and keeps 'em revelling in it.

Local in pole position :-
Our 'arry, - Columnist - Sun newspaper :- "I write like a two-year-old," he told officers in a tape played to the court. "I can't spell." Nor, he continued, could he work a computer or send a fax, email or text message.
Well qualified for that job then.
